To set up a regular donation
St. Andrew's is linked to the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS), overseen by The Church of England, which is a tax-efficient way of giving. There are two ways you can set up your donation through a direct debit.
Online:
You can set up your donation on-line; the process starts on the unique page for St Andrew’s Church. Go to the Parish Giving website: www.parishgiving.org.uk and follow the on-screen guidance. Use the ‘Find your parish’ search tool and type in the name of your church, parish and location. Click on your chosen church and you’ll be able to cross-check that it’s the right place, using the map, address details and description on that page.
When you arrive on the page for St Andrew’s, Alwalton, simply click on the Donate button and follow the instructions on screen to set up your regular gift.
You will need the following:
Your personal bank account details
The name of the parish you wish to donate to (Alwalton St. Andrew's)
You will need to confirm if you want to increase your gift in line with inflation each year (Optional)

First, you’ll be asked to set up and activate a website account with us so that you can log-in securely.
Next, you’ll be guided through a simple form to provide your personal bank details, the value and frequency of your gift, the option to add Gift Aid, you can choose to increase your gift annually by the rate of inflation and decide whether you would prefer to give anonymously.
It only takes a few minutes to complete these steps online. Then, you’ll be able to log-in at any time to review your giving and personal details.
By Phone:
Call 0333 002 1271, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, and the PGS team will take down all the information they need to complete your Direct Debit instruction for you. They will also ask about your preferences for opting in to Gift Aid, if you are eligible, and whether you would like to increase your gift annually by the rate of inflation.
The call usually takes about 10 minutes to complete. they will then send you a confirmation of your new gift by email or post including details of the parish you are supporting, the amount of your gift and the date of your first donation.
Please note that if you currently give to the church via standing order, PGS advise you to wait until receiving the confirmation letter from PGS before attempting to cancel it.

If you wish to make any changes to your Direct Debit, you can do this on-line through your PGS account or by notifying a member of the PGS team by phone 0333 002 1260, email info@parishgiving.org.uk or in writing to the address below.
